UPDATE: I spent a some serious time with the bass over the last few days and have decided to hang on to it.

For your consideration: an Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass in collector's grade mint condition. The included EBMM case is also in pretty much mint condition.
This Cutlass has a gorgeous two-tone vintage sunburst finish and a great looking tortoise pickguard. The neck has a silky smooth satin finish that is to die for; it is easily the best neck of any bass that I own. Nut width is right between a standard P and standard J. It's a fast neck that honestly is in the Goldilocks zone.
I - like the two people who owned it before me - have no idea why I am getting rid of this thing! It is an absolute beast and plays extremely well. The tone is killer. They are quite hard to find, especially in this condition. I am talking myself into keeping it...
However, I still favor my Fender P and I haven't touched it since I got it except to test it; it stares at me daily! On top of that, I am trying not to grow my collection before moving and am doing my best to remain realistic about what will fit in a small Melbourne apartment. So, with all that said, I'd rather have the cash at the moment even if I'll likely regret it later.
In any case, my loss is your gain and this thing is absolutely wonderful and I am sure the new owner will love it.
I am asking $2300 shipped, which is less than what I paid for the bass. I am just trying to make most of my expenses back but I do welcome realistic offers given the rarity and condition.
