Details

2009 Limited run, in very good condition. Shows sign of light uses, pickguard has some swirls if you look closely. A few small knicks on the fingerboard edge that are hard to notice, light oxidation on the pickup magnets and some screws. Very clean, including the back of the neck
  • Carmel Apple Delight finish
    Ebony fingerboard with special inlay
  • Ash body
  • Single H pickup
  • Active electronic w/ 3 band EQ cut and boost
  • 10lbs on bathroom scale
  • Original SKB case included

This bass presents how a great Stingray should sound like as expected. Single H pickup with vol/lo/mid/hi controls, no bs, just turn the volume up and get that chunky modern tone right away. Ebony fingerboard is gives more delicate and focus mid . less bassy/lo than rosewood but can easily be compensated with the onboard EQ

Ebony board is often used in their Stealth model , and the Carmel Apple Delight finish is gorgeous . It shows deep rich metallic green with dark copper sheen. Dargie Delight limited run started as EBMM thought green instruments won’t sell, and they made a limited run of green instruments by users request and got great feedback . Sometimes later they came up with this Dargie Delight II run and brought the finish to the next level .

It’s very delicate and modern sounding bass. The build quality is on par with any boutique basses out here. Plus no one builds better Stingray better than EBMM .

Quick test drive video included, and sorry about the rusty playing. I had been trapped with child at home in the past many month and really not able to sit down and practice.

$1650 Shipped to CONUS / Canada , Paypal preferred. Most likely no trade .

Single H Stingray 5s are the ultimate workhorse basses, but with the Dargie Delight II treatment, this SR5 has become an absolute boutique bass killer in every respect. GLWS!

exactly ... single H all the way and I even prefer the one that's hard wired in parallel with no switch .. no bs, it's like taking your pants off and have great fun immediately ..
