EBS HD350 vs HD360

Thats all the changes? I tought the new 360 had some sort of phantom power for EBS Pedals and some kind of switchable EQ or what.
The HD350 already had EBS TRS phantom power on the Input and Effects Return jacks. EBS' marketing calls out the following new features for the HD360:

Improvements & New Features

The new head features an improved preamp with better low frequency respons and (even) more head room than the previous 350 model. More new features include support for using a 4-channel footswitch, such as the EBS RM-4 to control Character filter, Filter Bypass, Drive and Mute, Mix-in filter for the effects loop and a Built-in Speaker Simulator for the XLR-output.

Sounds like they didn't break any of the things that make the HD350 a good amp, but the improvements certainly aren't anything to make me sell my HD350 to upgrade. Heck, the HD350 actually already had speaker simulator support for the balanced output, it just had to be enabled by a DIP switch on the back, instead of the front panel button on the HD360.

I’m close to purchase a HD350. So clearly the HD350 doesn’t support a 4 channel footswitch like the EBS RM-4. I guess Ill just have to handle the pots and knobs just like Ive always done.

Thx for the posts. Most
inspiring.

The high frequency chosen in the HP filter for many EBS amps is clearly audible when playing a five string bass through a cab with deep bass. The lowest notes do not carry the same weight as through my LMII, for instsnce. With a four string, difference is minor.

I just saw there is a new model the HD360. 4 part foot switchable ( I don't care) but they say it has more bass ( which I didn't know it was lacking).
So has anyone here tried the new model and how does it stack up against the HD350?
