This looks interesting... I think it's got everything I'd want from a preamp type pedal with the exception of a cab sim.

I can see that new features were added: compression, tuner .... which is great. But, unfortunatelly, I don't see the features which I have been missing the most on my MicroBass II: HPF, dual parametric mids and phase shift...
What makes this box really interesting is the stereo effects loop. I'm assuming it's post preamps and before the output/DI... So a CabSim, delay, etc will go in there. Pretty good platform to build on. You could even put a Xover on the drive channel in the effects loop to remove the low end. But I would like to see the manual also.
Used to have the 2, but was always thrown by the weird way the tone controls worked. This looks less kludgy. Not very interested in it, but an update was definitely due.

According to the manual, the "Tone" control is actually a LPF (6db/oct, 700Hz-20 kHz).
There is no HPF unfortunatelly...
Edit: there are two (semi)parametric mids when the Serial switch is set on...
