EDA-905

There is someone on my local craigslist selling one like the one pictured here (stock picture):

It's used but appears to be in excellent condition. Comes with hard case.

I have never seen this model in any stores. Is it worth the $450 he is asking?

I got my EDA905 from these guys: http://www.kenstantonmusic.com/pages/store_marietta.html

For $300 bucks! Last I saw they were on clearance for around $199. When the EDA's were brand-new they were fetching a hefty asking price, but the guitar is just too radical for most folks. I dropped an EMGDC45 and a EMG Control System(preamp) in mine, and combined with the piezo's sounds absolutely incredible. An extremely comfortable guitar, and ultra light weight. Leaps and bounds superior to most other basses out there in the 1000+ dollar range. It's really a great instrument.

At any rate, if you don't mind the long-distance call, KSM will definitely work a deal with you over the phone, and arrange for you to order one from them.
