Eden Cabs

Thinking of getting an Eden 4 x 10 to
a] replace my current Laney RB410 for smaller gigs, and
b] complement above mentioned Laney for big 4ohm goodness when required.

Thoughts? Am I barking up the wrong tree combining these 2?

Currently running an Eden nemesis RS400 amp So it would be nice to couple with an eden cab too.

I don't know how the two cabs would sound together, but if you're looking for and Eden 410, be sure to check out the D410XST as well as the D410XLT. The XLT frequency range is 50Hz-14kHz; the XST range is 36Hz-14kHz.

Ya, it's really 50/50 whether combining different cabs would work, and there's no real way of predicting it.

I've been using an XLT410t and haven't needed any more. Great cab!

Either the 410xlt or xst would more than do the job. Both are awesome cabs. You may find that once you have heard the Eden you won't like the sound of the Laney anymore.

Tnx for replies guys, local store stocks the Laney and is getting an Eden in next week, so hopefully I'll get a chance to A/B em and play em doubled up, will let you know.

I own both 410 XLT and XST.
Great cabs, but heavy.
One 410 for smaller gigs, and both for outdoor gigs.

Pairing one of these with your Laney I would not recommend.
The cab efficiencies are way different. The 410XLT will completely drown the Laney cab.

You might want to try a DNA DNS-410. It's a little bigger than either Eden 410, but it sounds fantastic, and is loud. It can handle 1,400 honest watts. Honest. David Eden told me himself.
