The 'conversion' doesn't really mean a great deal in terms of a selling point. It is literally just a change of fuse at the back of the unit. The amp doesn't even need to be opened up. That and the cost of a new cord for it.

When I did mine, it was about $5 all up and about 2 minutes work.

We just got it in to try it, but it wasn't really quite the right sort of thing for us dirty filth misters.
