Hey guys, does anyone know what pickup or mike Edgar Meyer is using? This is the best picture I could find.

It appears to me to be a Golden Trinity mic, but I've always been curious also.

I read an interview in which he said he used a microphone as far away from the front of th bass as he could, to get the recorded sound of what most audiences would hear live. i'll have to go find the BP mag that asks him this to find out what specific model

Whoa! I always thought he'd be much -- much -- older. Looks like a pretty young dude to have the reputation he does! How old IS he? Allmusic.com says he's been active since the 70's.
