Effect Circuit Schmatics

I actually built the Bazz Fuss, didn't like it as much as I thought I would, and scrapped it for parts. I believe those are all Tim E.'s (he made fun of me once for not being able to spell his last name) snippets, he's a very helpful guy and hangs around DIYstompboxes.com quite a bit (has anyone gotten sick of me sputing that URL yet?). Building a breadboarding area (breadboard + power + 2 jacks for in and out) is essential for heavy DIYers, I'm a mild one and I have limited dorm room space (and a roommate), so I don't breadboard too much. I mostly just build :) and it is AWESOME. I could not encourage you to get into DIY any more than I am now. It's great to be able to mod pedals you want to tweak more, or want a different sound out of, or that are just trash and you want to make into noiseboxes. And I make a pretty penny modding/repairing guitarist's pedals around here as a side job. I've got an EHX Small Stone (SOVTEK, the green one, sounds REALLY HOT) I just fixed for $20 bucks sitting here, and it took me about half an hour. Turns out there was just one old solder joint.

I should shut up now. Point is, get into DIY if you've got a little extra time and money. I knew almost nothing about electronics a year ago, and now I can fix anything analog with enough time and a multimeter.
