I recently purchased a ESP LTD 254-FM 4 string bass (stock strings and pickups) , and a Laney 15W Richter Bass Amp , i was wondering about Multi effects pedals .. is it necessary? i want a good tone from my bass (something below 100$ or 90$), i was considering to buy the Zoom B1/B1FX .. can you guys suggest something a good multi effect i usually do covers of RATM , Pearl Jam , STone temple pilots and want a tone like theirs (especially RATM) etc .. Thanks in advance

Zoom processors are not too shabby of a choice. at your price range, I would recommend the zoom b2 mainly because it's cased in metal. if you want another choice for a good multi-effects processor, the boss me-20b would be a good choice.
