Effects Loop Safety

Hey Guys,

I've been playing around with my pedal board from a while and haven't been satisfied with my overdive pedal because of the complete lack of bottom end in it.

I then realised my Trace Elliot had an effect loops function, with high, lo or full pass. I put the overdrive through the high pass and I thought the improvement in sound was great. Is it safe for the amp to have this put through the amp? I'm worried about this because I can't see if it is spiking or not.

Also is there any danger in putting my whole pedal board through the effects loop. I have a synth pedal, compressor and chorus.

It is perfectly safe to run your pedal effects in your effects loop.

Amp effects loops usually run hotter than pedal effects are designed for, so there may be some clipping or signal to noise issues. No personnel or product safety issues, though.
