I got an EHX Big Muff. And a powered pedal board. Whoo hoo.

Quick question though, I noticed that the Muff only has two plug in's for instrument cables and none for a power source. Does it feed off the power from the amp or something?

Sorry for my noob-ness.

I assume you got a black Russian model. That means it only runs off of a 9v battery. However something like a 1Spot with a battery clip adapter would work as well. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/1SpotCBAT/

Two things:

A. You simply must tell me, in great detail, about that Freaker Wah, and
B. Is the Madison, WI, GC the only store in the country that doesn't carry Fulltone pedals?

Pros:
-Sound. Awesome. Very, very awesome.
-Construction. Like a tank.
-Bypass. Not at all difficult to switch. Much smoother than Crybabies.
-Versatility. A bunch of modes. All sound good, and the quack knob is fun.
-Plays very well with others.

Cons:
-Must run on isolated 2.1mm 9v power (no Dunlops or Daisy Chains) or battery.
-The sweep isn't as effective as it would be in a perfect world. Better than most even, but I'd like the kind of frequency sweep that you get on say the Moog Freqbox. That's a little unfair to the pedal, so it shouldn't really be a con. But whatever.

That's just an initial run. There's maybe an hour or two on the pedal so far, but those few hours have been great fun.

Also, I know it's not the only GC that doesn't. Even guitarcenter.com doesn't list them. Fortunately, the one closest to me, in Nashville, does carry Fulltone, so I might get some fun stuff out of it.
