EHX HOG/POG for simulating a rhythm guitar?

(snip snip) The POG only has one 1/4" out, so you can't split the signal unless you have stereo outs on your bass or you use some other line splitter before the POG (i.e. Boss L2, for example).

The MicroPOG does have separate dry and effected outputs (Invalid Link Removed). It has both octave up and octave down, so it may be an option if you don't need the 5th.

I play in a three piece Stoner band and have this very problem and here is my personal solution...

I run two complete seperate amps with two complete seperate cab sets complete with two seperate signal chains...

It is a lot of gear to carry around, but onstage the result is very dramatic...

I run a very dirty 4 x 10 with the treble rolled up the signal path is bass -> Vodoo Lab Sparkle Drive -> EHX BBM
this is engaged during solos

to Preserve my low end i use a clean 1 x 15

the two combined do the Job very well live

I use a Roland GR-20 guitar/bass synthesizer + the GK3B pickup.
It's just like having another player in the band.
While playing my usual bass lines, the synth tracks effortlessly with pad type atmospheric sounds.
Depending on the sound bank chosen, a single bass note can play a synth chord. Pass the syth trough a distortion pedal, and instant rhythm guitarist, tracking with the bass line.
