EHX Microsynth vs Mono Synth

Welcome to TB @cricknice, cute kitty.
I have long been a fan of the EHX Bass MicroSynth having owned one of the originals for years and then getting one of the first run NYC reissues that I still use occasionally for it's unique all analog sounds. There are more sophisticated synth pedals but the BmS still has it's own charm, sounds and use.
The Bass Mono Synth is a different sort of creature but I didn't really do it for me, no matter how big an EHX and bass synth pedal nut I am. Were my needs different, like being in a cover band and not wanting to be creative it might be a solution to cover some basic and popular sounds. YMMV.
If you are more interested in a more functional synth pedal then you ought top consider checking out a Source Audio C4 Synth or Spectrum or Panda Future Impact as affordable options, there are others that are also interesting.
