While I was at the music store today, getting my banjo looked over, I sat down for 15 minutes and had some time with an electric acoustic bass (that kinda look like a guitar, not the upright kind). I plugged it into a Crate BFX100.
There was one thing I noticed that was different from my experience with electric basses...there was an extra thumpiness. It was interesting. I pluck the string on my EB, and I get the sound right now. On the EAB, and there is that extra acoustic goodness on top of the usual sound.
I liked it.
