Hi folks,

Just switched my active passive switch for a black one after intending to do so for many years. The passive option however isn't working (active is fine). I am pretty sure the wires are all as they were on the original switch. Here is a piccie - can anyone spot the problem?

You need to connect the two empty poles on the switch to each other.

*edit: Assuming you're not supposed to have a working tone control in passive mode.

Thanks a lot guys - a thorough inspection of the removed switch revealed a tiny jumper across the contacts! Do'h!

Those jumpers are pretty easy to miss. Can't tell you how many times I've pulled my hair out over something like that. Now I make a drawing before removing anything and I also use a magnifying lamp just to make sure I don't miss any details.
