electronics question

I have an old Samick Artist series 6 string bass from about 1994(maybe?), and was wondering if anyone new where i could find any information on the pickups and active electronics

Hi, I have an ibanez GSR190 beginner bass, it sounded quite well, but after 4 years there appeared a strange noise when I was turning the pots, I decided to buy new pots, but I could not get exactly the same as I had before, I had to use 250K instead of 500K and I even don't know if they were linear or logarithmic, the problem is that, when I turn the bridge pickup volume down, the neck pickup also turns off , and otherwise too, they sound only both or none. Please Help!!!
