Okay, so I am getting my hands on an Ibanez BTB570 and I'm not a fan of the Bartolini electronics. Ideally, I'd want to throw EMG pickups in there but that's just not a feasible choice with out doing some ridiculous routing. My thoughts were the Nordstrand Big Blade Singles, but with what preamp? It will be tuned in BEAD and used to play aggressive music. I'm looking for something that will be able to really bite. I was thinking maybe the EMG BQC or BQS systems. Opinions?
