I recently pickup this bass in a trade but I just cannot get use to the 35" scale, I very much prefer 34" basses - This bass however, is amazing! now I know why Daric Bennet plays Elrick basses, they kick butt, tone, lightweight, low action, high quality, etc. I am looking to sell or trade for another 5 string, preferably modern or jazz of similar value or cash coming my way, please don't offer weird basses and not interested in PJs, Musicman or fretless Here are the specs: Body Wood: Swamp Ash; Fully Shielded Control Cavity Neck Wood: Maple Fingerboard: Wenge Neck Profile: "C"; 0.843" @ 1st fret; 0.853 @ 12th fret Nut Width: 1.88" Bridge Width: 2.88" Neck Inlays: 3mm Dot Top Postion markers Frets: 24; Medium Fret Wire + Zero Fret Scale: 35" Pickups: Bartolini soapbar pickups ($250 Upgrade) Electronics: Bartolini 3-band pre-amp Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite Bridge: Hipshot - Made for Elrick Strap Buttons: Dunlop Dual Design (Straplok compatible) Weight: 7 lbs 15 oz Ships with Original hardcase Please send all offers via pm
Did you divide by 5? There are only 4 spaces between the 5 strings. Maybe measure bridge saddle to bridge saddle
Looks like 3/4 inch string spacing at the bridge, 19 mm. Very comfortable string spacing, thank you for the picture. GLWTS
yes - my other 3 sadowskys have the same string spacing and I find it very confortable. Besides, who plays their bass right at the bridge?
