EMG BQC System Knobs

Hey i just had a quick question about the knobs that come with the EMG BQC System. I just want to know if the black ones that come with it, can be swaped out in place of different color and arrangements, both single and stacked knobs?...I was thinking about doing it with my Spector Euro 5LX but I want gold knobs instead of black, if i put the BQC system in.

Swapping the knobs? Sure. Obviously, cocentric pots need cocentric knobs, but other than that you should have no problems.

FWIW:

different pots have different stem lengths and diameters and if you're going to bother you should get set screw knobs (preferably allen but no big deal). I pulled a pot stem out once removing a press-on knob. Fortunately that was early on and press-ons have since remained in a drawer.

Anyway, you want to get knob height and stem diameters to match or you'll find out why (there's a number of reasons).

Personally EMG's are my prefered knobs and, to my knowlege, you can get them in any color - as long as it's black.

Alright cool that sounds about right, thank you very much...Yeah as I said the only reason I ask about it is cause I like how gold knobs look on my Spector and if the systems knobs can be changed with screw knobs, which i also prefer, than thats the way I'll go if I get it.

An old thread I know but just wondering if you had any luck finding the gold knobs for the EMG's, (and if so where did you get them)? I've been looking for years and haven't found gold, stacked, dome knobs for the BQC System on my old Warwick. Got some horrible ones from Guitar Parts a while back that I use in the meantime but still searching...

All Parts has metal knobs that will fit. I just got a chrome set for an Aggie pre, and I think the package actually said "for EMG" on it.

Yeah...I have those on my Warwick and I'm afraid I don't like them....too tall and flat-topped...I wanted gold stacked dome knobs - like the original knobs but stacked.
