EMG BTC control w/CS 62 P and CS 60s J pups

I need a wiring diagram to install a EMG BTC in my P/J Bass with Fender CS pups; Anybody have one (diagram) for this? or either a very simple explanation (for dummies) of how I can get this done? I'm pretty good with a soldering iron, I just need a wiring layout/drawing, I can handle the rest, Thanks.

what knob layout? V/V/T?

just bag the tone pot for the VTC;

the white wire goes to the volumes, the green wire goes to the jack hot, the black wires go one to the pot back and one to the jack's ground, the red wire goes to the battery clip, and the black wire from the battery clip goes to the ring terminal of the (stereo) jack.

Yes VVT, Sorry, and Thanks. It's just that they have those "modular" connectors on the BTC; Do you/I just solder onto those? Sorry, I'm a little slow ... sometimes, HA!!

you should have wires that plug onto that bank of pins, such that you can solder the other end of those wires.

not sure about the color codes now, IIRC you should see something to the effect of "in", "out", "V+" and "Gr" on that pin bank. "in" is from the pots, "out" is to the jack, "V+" is to the battery and ground is ground of course.

i do like those preamps though; enough boost and cut to be effective without being overbearing, and i can attest having wired lots of them with true-bypass switches, when you have the EQ controls all flat and switch from active to passive it really is unity gain and quite transparent.

they really shine at 18V, but do just fine at 9.

Totally agree with walterw about the unity level and transparency of EMG EQs.
When I rewire my Combustion I'm deleting the A/P switch in favor of a Blend.
