EMG full install power ?

So I am in the process of installing the following on my LTD AX-104.
EMG35DC (neck)
EMG35TW (bridge)
& EMGBQC

My bass is only set up for 1 9v Battery.
Is it worth figuring out a way to get another battery in this mix for the 18v?

My Spector has has a full EMG install and it's just using a single 9v.
