EMG Pickups (P and CS)

Just arrived tonight...35CS and 35P4, installing this weekend! Will let you know, if its anything like some you posted I'm sure I will be happy! I'm putting them into a Sire M2, picked up the EMG 8 string pup rings which will cover up the gaps...cant wait to install um!

My pleasure! Would love to hear your thoughts after you install yours.
Well I got them installed and I really like how the CS can fatten up the P4! Going from the P4 and blending in the CS is pretty nice, Usually I would have to adjust the EQ pedal quite a bit if I wanted to fatten up the sound and that was a hassle with just a Boss GEB7. I think the CS pup can really shape the lows and mids from the P4 just going from Soloing the P4 to blending them together. I really like the combo.

I ended up selling the Boss GEB7 and got the Boss EQ-200 before the pups arrived as fiddling with knobs going from a Jazz to a Stingray to the dual humbuckers in my Sire M2 and M5 was annoying. Now having a ton of presets available with the EQ-200 I only have to adjust the pre's EQ when I want a slight adjustment is real nice. Bought a Broughton Hi and Low pass filter pedal as well cant wait for that to get here to tighten things up.

Thanks for the sound samples as that really helped with the decision making. I had heard the CS and P4 separately but never together. Cheers!
