EMG Wiring

Hey guys, I’m hoping for some help with EMG pickup wiring. I just got two EMGs, one 40J and one 40DCX. My bass was originally wired for 2 volume and 2 tone but all the wiring schemes I’m seeing from EMG only shows wiring for 2 volume and 1 tone. I’d like to have a tone for each pickup.

Anyone with knowledge of these pickups know how I could wire it this way. Both pickups also have the solderless quick plug type components.

I’m not too sure but I think that you can’t mix EMG and EMG X pickups, at least without the ABCX. I think...but just in case I’m wrong,

Did you buy the pickups new? Or if you bought them used, do you at least have one of each, a passive tone and active tone pot? Do you have the buss?
