Anyone have any experience with this thing. 3 bands of eq with some width, q, and freq control seems pretty awesome.

Im seriously thinking of getting one. Sorta looking for a tone modifying pedal to get some extra tone from my fuzzes but I've already got the EQ on the GT-10B locked into being a bass kill, the FX 1 and 2 are assigned to other FX, and the amp models aren't quite what im looking for (mostly).

hey there, personally ive got the paraeq for a month now and im still figuring out what some of the knobs do. the "Q" switches really are a pain in the neck sometimes, but you've really gotta spend some time analysing and playing with the knobs.

that aside, if you're looking for a tone and eq box. look no further. it has frequency controls that allows you to tweak your sound when playing live. I was once playing live and i got lost in the mix thankfully a little tweaks in the frequency knobs got me back. scooping the mids really takes a new term here, as you can play with the gain and also its frequency. i think the Q knobs do work in a subtle way. it kinda tightens or expands the frequency band. you could get fat warm tones, smooth to punchy slapping tones with the paraeq. having said that, its not a preamp or anything. it doesnt add colour, very transparent. just plays around with the eq to get you a tone you'll be satisfied with.

it can also act as a volume boost with 30db to spare. thats one hella powerful boost knob its got imo.

Thanks for the post :D Sounds pretty much like what I want which is to get another "layer" of sounds (with some more midrange/maybe a little less treble, etc...) from my different fuzz pedals
