Does anyone out there use an endpin wheel? I work at Guitar Center and can get http://band-orchestra.musiciansfriend.com/product/Meisel-Bass-Endpin-Wheels?sku=464357 with a nice discount, but I could only find one review on it and it wasn't great. Does anyone have an opinion on the wheels? Anyone have the Meisel?
I own and use both the BB and the Kolstein wheel and the pluses you list about the BB and the minuses of the Kolstein are true, however one plus about the Kolstein is it's superior lateral or side to side movement vs. the straight line track movement of the BB.

I use the Kolstein stroller too. I think the small wheels are a small inconvenience when going down the sidewalk, crossing streets, etc. But the lateral movement is a huge plus especially travelling on subways, walking in the city, and moving through other cramped spaces and the easy store-ability is nice at home and on gigs.
I just got a new Kolstein bag and was pleased to discover it has velcro already stitched on for the stroller.![]()
I'm one of those few that align the bass sideways and steer it as a rudder.
I have to admit that I'm skittish about the effect of a wheel on the endpin and block. So I got a KC Strings Bass Buggie, which I'm quite happy with.
I love the image.Yeah, but you can't turn on a dime if some tourist comes careening at you in a foam statue of liberty hat while staring up at MTV studios...
this wheel looks interesting:

That's how the Kolstein Stroller works, ribs up.
