Engaging two pedals at the same time?

What is a simple way of engaging two pedals at the same time other than the "wide foot" technique?

My situation is that I have a Fulltone Bassdrive that is a little too loud when engaged. Obviously I could turn the volume down on the Bassdrive but I have found that this causes a loss in low end. So, I have resolved this issue by placing a Boss Bass EQ after it. The overall volume is decreased just a bit on the EQ to compensate for the Bassdrives volume and then I raise the low end on the eq. This works quite well. The overdrive tone is affected a little however. Any other options for out there? Also, it is kind of a hassle having to engage both pedals at the same time.

A looper pedal is the way I deal with turning on more than one pedal at a time.

I just hit them in succession really fast..

although if you will always use them together, a bypass looper isn't a bad idea.

if you dont want to spend anymore money you could rotate the GEB-7 counter-clockwise 45 degress and put it closer the the bassdrive. then it will be easier to hit them. but i would still hit the bassdrive first then roll your foot onto the GEB-7

35 bucks. 10 bucks more and you can get it with a LED.

If you feel like spending the bucks it would solve your problem.

I don't know how much they cost to buy, but I have made one for myself for less than $20.

Yup thats pretty much the idea, a tiny bit cheaper if done yourself, but if you don't know how to do these things, it would be worth it. The enclosures I buy are bigger than that too, so thats a good point for it.

A looper pedal is one of those "must have" items.

For example, I use one for practice. I can add pedals to the loop and then engage them without getting any pops from the mixer. If no pedal is in the loop, I can use it as a mute.

u could always buy a compressor and put it after the bass drive to keep the volume the same throughout, i do this with my English Muff'n and my Big Crush

thanks for the link! Building a looper looks like it would be a fun project, if I dont get too in the process . It will be a learning experience for me.

Where can I get a looper box kit?

most electronics stores will have most of the parts you need.

If you want an LED in it, you'll need a 3PDT switch, which I just ordered off eBay here from the pedalpartsplus.com eBay store.

if you don't use an LED, you should be able to find everything at a place like Radio Shack. Look in your local yellow pages for elecronics stores, and they should have what Radio Shack doesn't.
