I like turtles.
I tried the Q-tron, and hated it.

I tried the Boss AW-3, and didn't like that either.

Fell in love with the Digitech Bass Synth Wah, and ordered one yesterday.

I am considering the DOD FX25B. Anyone have any experience with it? What does it sound like? How versatile is it?

I am also considering the Danelectro French Toast, because I can get it for about £20 off Ebay. Anyone played it?

Also, what is the other EHX stuff like? Nano Bass Balls or Nano Dr Q anyone?

Cheers

you liked the Digitech Bass Synth Wah??? i thought it was garbage.....

i had a mutron and thought it was OK....i have a discombobulator and a bass balls that i really like....

MXR Bass Auto Q

Never used one, but all I hear is good reviews.

Have one, love it! I also have a Bassballs on my board. Completely different - longer, more vowel-like tones, whereas the MXR is more quacky sounding. Can't use them together though, it's one or the other. Together the sound gets weird - and not in a good way. It's nice having two different sounding filters. I also really dig the Moogerfooger, but don't want to spend the money for one. I had an old FX-25B and loved it, but the newer DOD/Digitech stuff just doesn't do it for me at all.

I currently have the Emma DiscumBOBulator on my pedalboard... and the Chunk Systems Agent '00' Funk is also very great. I found for my own preferences, the '00' likes active basses much more than passive basses. I rarely use my filter at a gig anyways... so, the lil footprint of Emma beat it out.

I have a Q tron and a Digitech BSW.

The BSW makes a great octave pedal ( dont like the wah options )and I found the Q tron infuriating before I bought a Boss LS2 to help maintain a bottom end and equalise volumes.

My Exar Pignose filter is perfect though and great value.

I hated the AW-2, Sold my Q-Tron because it was too quacky, liked the FX25 but sold it, Have a Maxon AF-9 and an MXR Auto Q which I love. Will be selling the Maxon soon since I have an original Mu-Tron on the way. Tried a Bass Balls in the shop, didn't like it that much at all. Got a BSW too, but I only use it for the octaver. Don't like the filters on it that much.

A fellow tber once said it works wonderfully with the EHX BMS.
I'm looking foward to test this unit.
Right now I'm using the Maxon AF-9.
Planning to keep it if I do buy the Bass Auto Q.
