I have an EB3 Bass and it sounds absolutely horrible. Sounds like I'm in a tin can! My questions are in regards to getting the best quality sculpted sound regardless the price. I need this ax up and running very soon. What pickups and electronics do I need to get the sound I need? I play southern rock, classic rock, and alt rock. I run thru a BX440H Crate Head 4×10 Peavey Cab. My rigg sounds perfect with any other ax. So I know it's not my rigg. I am going to put flatwound strings on it this weekend but I need the rest! I don't know if a pre-amp pedal will help me to shape what I need or what? Can you help me out someone please!?
