*Marked down to $1350...will sell as scaled-down rig (amp + one enclosure) if desired!!*
The cold slap of reality: I'm getting too old for this stuff or, at least, the lugging-around part...
I'm offering up my full-blown Epifani rig for trade (preferred) or sale. Shipping costs negate the value so I'm limiting myself to local transactions only. The good news is that I'm in Norfolk / Virginia Beach which is within driving distance of DC metro, Richmond, eastern NC including Raleigh, etc. Per the rules, I have to post prices:
Epifani PS1000 Amp > $450
Epifani 3 x 10 (UL Series 1) > $450
Epifani 3 x 10 (UL Series 2) > $450
Trade Value > ~$1500
All components are in VG cosmetic condition and excellent functional condition. The Series 1 shows a tad more wear as this is the enclosure I actually gigged...the plastic interlocking corners have some minor scars. Don't think the Series 2 ever left the house as a single cab was more than adequate for a normal size venue. I will trade / sell the whole schmear OR will sell the amp with one enclosure and I'll keep the second. Purchase the whole rig and I'll throw-in the Roadrunner carry case or rack box and a Tuki cover for a 310.
*PS1000 has dual power amps, 500 watts / 4 ohm per side or 1000 watts bridged into a single 8 ohm load. The cabs are 5.3 ohms...one per side = great match! Anecdotally, this is the warmest sounding Epifani head. The EQ voicings are spot-on plus there's a separate variable mid-cut which puts it over the top.
*Series 1 & 2 enclosures: I understand they use slightly different 10" drivers but I can't tell the difference. They share the same footprint and, at first glance, appear to be identical. The badges are different as are the grille screw pattens. They're both rated @ 700 watts, impedance is 5.3 ohms so I treat them as 4 ohm. In real world applications, one cab is plenty....the younger gun-slingers may get a kick out of stacking the works!
What I really need is a smaller lightweight modular rig. I'm thinking along the lines of Hartke, Genz, GK, Fender Rumble, Quilter, MarkBass, etc. in a combo format w/ ext cab or separates (12"s, 15"s) w/ matching head (~500+ watts). I can leave one component at our rehearsal space...I have spare amps...and still have a second for home use. Cash +/- for the right deal although I'm reluctant to shell out any dough unless the trade-bait is truly spectacular. Sidenote: I did a little online "window shopping" and about passed out when I saw the street pricing of new gear!
Thanks for looking and please message me with any questions or offers!
Edit & afterthought: If anybody is truly serious about this, I can meet halfway provided I don't end-up in Bum-*** Egypt. Some destinations in mind: eastern NC including Edenton & "little" Washington, Emporia VA / Rt 95, Richmond / 64 & 95, Fredericksburg VA / 95, etc.
