Double Bass Epifani UL-110? Comments?

I have two UL-110's and love them for URB. Great having a pair for putting one on each side of the stage, if you need that kind of coverage for the audience.

No pics, and doesn't say whether it's a UL-110, or a different Epi 110 model, but might be what you're looking for.

The Epifani UL-110 is no longer in production. I'm trying to find a second one. I've written them at Epifani but didn't even receive a reply to the inquiry. I've scoured a few lists but with no luck yet. I thought maybe the gear forum on TB might turn one up. Any ideas would be appreciated. I won't expect this box to take on the mystique associated with other products like a VL-208 but I want one to pair with the one I have.

Have heart, one will eventually come up for sale in the classifieds. It took me about two years to get my hands on a Euphonic Audio VL 208, and my guess is that they made many more of the Epifani 110's then the EA 208's

I would agree that if possible, you should pair two of the same cabinets, but I'd would think that the Epifani 112 and the 110 would be as close to each other as you could get, without having an exact match.

I tried a pair of Euphonic Audio VL 108's and it sounded good, but the VL 208 weighed less and smoked the pair of single cabinets. So if you find you can't hold out on acquiring the 110 there are lightweight 210's. Hope you fine one.

One will come up. I actually just bought one yesterday. It was through kijiji, and I am very pleased with it. They have a very transparent tone, and I find the Epifani voicing to work very well with Double Bass. Light and airy top end with solid lows. Great for reinforcing the acoustic volume. Keep an eye out and I'm sure one will come up!

I've had a UL110 (series 1) for over 10 years and I came close to selling it a couple of times. However, it's a perfect low volume gig cab and I always seem to need it. I recently purchased a Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 head and it sounds great with the Epi cab, much improved tone over the Genz Benz Shuttle 9 head that I normally use.
