I agree completely. Creating a quality instrument matters considerably to me as the more I play my EB-0 (I strung it to see how it plays unplugged) the more I am enjoying it. the short scale is a real pleasure and a dramatic change from my bongo.
As someone who has played almost exclusively fretless for the past 20 years, the combination of frets and short scale make this thing an immense amount of fun. its alsmost like a toy, but I want to make it a highly functional toy
I play in a jazzy-folk trio as well as a rock roots group and while i can't see much room for it in the trio, I think it may get a lot of playtime in the rock band.
