I understand these Epiphone Jack Casady signature basses are very rare with sunburst finishes and that less than 100 were manufactured in the first Korean run in 1998.
I've owned it since the early 2000's and it remains in excellent condition. It's all original and stock and there are no visible imperfections anywhere. There may be some very light evidence of it being played, which I have, but after polishing it I can't see anything.
I recently had it professionally serviced which included a fret dressing and leveling, full setup, electronics cleaning and checking and cleaning/polishing. It plays great with low action and is strung with new D'Addario Half Rounds and I think they sound great on this bass. There is no visible fret wear. I assume this is because I usually strung it with flats.
The original hard case is included and while it has some scratches in the covering, the case itself is in great shape with all latches working.
There are lots of YouTube videos singing the praise of these basses. I've found it to be a very versatile instrument and the single Electar pickup and 3 way switch delivers a surprising array of sounds that suited the variety of situations I played it in.
I'm selling it because I've barely played it the last 10 years as I mainly play upright bass.
