I bought this bass a few years and have loved everyone second of playing. I rarely pick up the 5 string anymore and typically play my American Jazz nowadays. In my research I have found that I may have a rare bass in my hands. I have not seen another one for sale and recently and I've looked pretty hard. One went for $375 on here in 2010, and it didn't take but a few minutes for it to sell. Also saw a guy saying he "had the chance to buy one for $500, wish I would've" on another forum. I'm trying to gauge a price point for it, and yes it is for sale.

It's a 2000ish Epiphone Les Paul Standard 5 string bass. Typical shallow scratches on back from usage (it is 15 years old). The rest of the bass is extremely nice with a couple barely visible nicks. Plays like a dream and everything works perfectly.

Hi Kevin,

Welcome to Talkbass. Unfortunately you will need to be a supporting member to post "how much is this worth?" type questions. Also, as a supporting member you would be eligible to use the forum's For Sale area.

Hope you stick around

Bob

I have one just like it, although mine has EMGs and a 2 band eq. Mine is a 2000, as well. Unfortunately, resale is not particularly good, at least here on TB. One was up for sale a couple months back for $450 and I don't think it sold...here is mine.
