Epiphone Thunderbird wiring

Hello there,
I'll try to be quick... I have Epiphone Thunderbird IV, and I want to make it 1 (master) volume, 1 tone. Can I wire both humbuckers on one pot ?

And will have no loss in volume or anything like that ? I know this is kinda dumb question but my guitarist says it will change resistance and I may lose some volume...

How is it wired now? If you are removing pots, then you will gain a tiny bit of output/treble, not lose it.

Now it's 2 volume (for each humbucker) and 1 master tone. As I said I want to make master volume for both humbuckers

The result of removing a volume pot will be a tiny bit more high end.

You will lose some volume compared to either pickup solo (almost unnoticable), but you will gain some (a tiny amount) compared both pickups maxed with two volumes. I personally would add a selector switch so I could have more options.
