Epiphone Thunderbird

There a ka-billion threads about this topic... just search.

I have one and it is my first bass and also my only bass, I think it is a very decent beginner's bass although it isn't very versatile.
that's ga-zillion, and NOT versatile? perhaps in some types of music, so I'm not disagreeing.

and EPI for a 300 dollar unit, it works for what it was intended to be primarily for...a cool shaped starter bass, as you said.

hell how many people buy a Rondo/SX out of the box and look how many people are already modding them a day later to get those cheapies to sound the way they like it..
