Ergodyne EDC700 plucky/clicky sounding?

Does anyone get a plucky sound when finger playing their EDC700? I can mess with the eq and get it to go away a little, but I get a noticeable muted thud when you play a note and your finger stops on the string above it. I understand its a cheaper bass and actually from what I've read, quite a controversial one here on the forums. But I like it and was hoping someone has some feed back on my issue and possibly some ways to help correct it.

You might try muting it with a piece of foam insulation by the bridge. Easy, cheap and non-destructive.
