I took my mother out to see a play the other day. We were sitting in the lobby before showtime, when I heard a nearby woman loudly assuring her male companion that "Chuck Berry is the King of rock 'n roll, not Elvis". OK, I agree with that. She continued, with a Prince-related comment:

"They asked that famous rock guitarist Eric Frampton what it's like to be the best in the world and he said 'I don't know, go ask Prince."

"Eric Frampton"? LOL Never heard of him!

Btw, I've heard the exact same story attributed to Jimi Hendrix, with him supposedly mentioning Christian music guitar wizard Phil Keaggy as the best.

At least she got Chuck Berry's name right! LOL

Eric Frampton. He played defense for the Dallas Cowboys in 2012 and New Orleans in 2013.

I didn't know he played guitar.
