Ernest is an incredible player, and a super nice guy! He introduced me to Richard Ruse and Trickfish at NAMM in 2016, after he saw me goofing off on an Eminence EUB in an empty booth and invited me to go downstairs to check out a new amp company. Of course, Mike Pope was there, then Jerry Jemmott stopped by, and Mark Egan dropped in... I remember wondering to myself how in the world I ended up amongst these titans.
I'm still playing Trickfish, and specifically the amp and cabs that Richard sold me.

I think I can say that Ernest is probably my favorite fusion bassist. He's right up there with Jimmy Johnson and James Genus and Jimmy Haslip for me.
