Ernie Ball Group III Flats

My cobalt flats have a little issue so i asked EB for a replacement but they weren't able to get me another set of cobalt flats due to them not being sold in my country, so for a replacement i asked for the Group III flats. How are these strings compared to the cobalt flats? How is their brightness and tone life? Even if they are not what i might be looking for, they are probably the best option for me as a replacement.

I've got a pack, yet to try them though, all I know is that the group flats are traditional ones, and won't be as bright as the cobalt once they break in.

They are good strings, traditional sounding but with a good growl to them also

the Group III flats... How are these strings compared to the cobalt flats? How is their brightness and tone life?

I would put them in the same category as the D'A Chromes and the Fender 9050s in terms of both tone and feel.
