es335 bass

hey,i posted a few months ago asking if anybody has any experience and feedback with the new es335 bass.i only got 1 reply from a guy who tried it at a store and he thought it sounded muddy.has anybody else tried it out? she sure is a sexy devil….thanks

Hey, I have one of these in red and its truely awesome. There's no neck dive, looks amazing, feels great to play and has a vast tone range that allows you to use it with different types of music. I get loads of people asking me about it at gigs and load of compliments about the sound... In no way have I found it to be muddy and it is my main bass,its tone monster!

As with all things there is a down side.... when I got mine the neck binding was so sharp it was cutting my hand when i played and the rattle from the pick up switch was really loud. These were all fixable minor things but I was a little disappointed with Gibsons QC on one of their top end basses.
I've always wanted a les paul signature bass but in the uk these are mega rare! This bass came along at the right time and has filled the void and now I'm considering buying another second hand one in Ebony.
