ESP LTD b - 204sm thoughts?

I am searching for a 24 fret, active bass that is below £800, and this bass came up! It looks gorgeous, and has everything I want! But there aren't as many online reviews as I had hoped! Have you any thoughts? Is this bass good or bad, what are the pros an cons?

Thanks!

I owned a B205SM a few years back. It was a good bass. It sounded good and was comfortable to play. It had a bit of neck dive though. If I remember correctly the neck was quite chunky compared to my Ibanez SR505 at the time but Ibanezs' are known for being slim.

I think you could probably find better value basses around the 800 pound price point. Search the used instruments sections on Bassdirect.co.uk or your local music shop because there are some crazy deals on instruments sub-1000 pounds. I remember a few months ago Bassdirect was selling used Korean Spectors and MTD Kingstons for around 800 pounds. IMO those basses would smoke a cheap LTD any day. Used is the way to go. Especially if it's from an individual (not an online shop) because you get the option of trying it before buying it which is very important.
