I purchased two of these fine instruments from a former ESP endorser.
This is a made-in-Japan ESP model, NOT an LTD. First rate construction. You'll like how it plays and sounds.
I'm moving overseas and can't take all my instruments with me, which is sad. This is a terrific bass.
The relic look turned me off at first, but I've come to kind of like it. I've purchased new basses and would fret about any mark on it. With this bass, who cares.
Terrific condition, no modifications.
As for the cigarette burn on the head stock, I bought two of these basses from the same person, and they both have the same burn mark at the same place (see photo). I found that odd, as photos of the bass on the internet never have the burn mark. Also, the mark is not under the finish, while all the other factory-made marks are under the finish. The person I bought it from said they both came that way. Regardless, the mark is there but really doesn't look out of place given the factory treatment.
