ESP Viper

    Hello fellow exec. managers of the low end! hows it going?

    i'm kinda happy. I just bought two basses, one being an ESP Viper 304. I did a search and found nothing, so i posted my own thread.
    I want to see your Vipers. Any model, any color. Have you done any cool mods? Does it hold its own? Play and sound good? Any complaints or good points?

    Let me know.
    Pictures are always nice too...
    can't wait until mine gets here!

    I had to rescue a dark blue metallic Viper 304 from the wall at the Tulsa Music go round. All of the bases there hang on the wall about 10-12 feet off of the ground, and the ESP was one of the few that hadn't fallen to the ground yet.

    I played it for about an hour, and even though it had a horrible set up and the wrong E-string tapered before the nut, the neck felt perfect for my long skinny fingers. I made a new bracket for the upper strap button (completely reversible) so that it hangs like it's supposed to, strung it with DR high beams, and finally got the truss rod to co-operate - it seems to be sort of finicky. Great bass.
