Double Bass EUB with American standard scale?

As the title suggests, I wonder if there is an EUB with neck dimensions matching the long scale neck if an American Standard.

As I write this, it sounds like I'm looking at a custom build, and if so I wonder what the cheepest way to do it, even if I were to do it myself. I'm only looking to have something smaller to toy around and practice at work so it doesn't need to be a fine work of musical art.

Any thoughts?

My Eminence has a string length of about 41 1/4”. Not sure how that compares to American Standard scale. FWIW, the Eminence is almost exactly the same as my Shen hybrid. Makes it easy to switch back and forth between them, no adjustment needed.

Right, which is the problem. A lot of EUB s are 42. This is a real first world problem.

This is I think something you can get from MK without any problems. These instruments are built to order and you get to choose a few things, including the scale length, at no extra cost. Most people on here who've bought an MK bass will probably confirm that Mirko is very helpful and easy to get along with, so I'd suggest you drop him a line and I'm sure he can offer you something.
