Someone mentioned "esh schwartz" but that's not THE esh bass I'm used to. And I'm lowercasing "esh" because that's the way the company does it.

I think some are taking this list a bit too far because there must be a zillion independent luthiers in Europe that produce fine instruments and stick their last name onto the headstock but now to start naming every single one of them...? I'd say let's stick to 'proper' brands if you know what I mean.
