EV Speakers in Mesa Boogie Road Ready 2x15?

which would really surprise me as that is just 200 solid state watts and he had like 4 big ass mesa cabs

yes you are right he did infact use the 400T i looked at your amp wrong. but still is a killer set up! much respect.

yes he used about 4 MESA BOOGIE 2x15's ROADREADY

boogie 2-15 speaker type question
Does anyone know why the boogie 2-15 has 2 separate cavities? I was under the impression that 2-15's in same box was more efficient.. wondering if would be ok to run an evB in bottom and a evL in top of this boogie 2-15? since they are 2 separate cavities!

I do have a freshly reconed EVM 15L, removed from my old Road Ready Mesa cab with a torn cone. I did the recone myself and the end result is very nice. I have no further use for it so would be willing to sell if someone needs one.

OEM usually also implies that it was a special order/design not available to the general public as an individual speaker - you could only get that speaker by buying the cab it came in. Sometimes it's with the proprietary design specs to make a better product, sometimes it's just to cut costs.

I have the same cab, as near as I can tell I have L's. I play in drop C and the speakers and cab just work perfect. Very clean lows and very very punchy mids, which makes it easy go cut through the mix in a live situation. Just my experience of course, but this is the best cab I have ever owned works great for low tuning.

I am going off my personal research and other responses I have got here on TB about having the L's. So keep that on mind about my personal experiences.

When I play live I never have trouble hearing myself or cutting through the mix on stage even using low tunings. This is for sure the heaviest (100+ lbs) cab I have owned but it seems worth the hassle of transporting this beast.

I have no experience with the B's so I am of no help with that question. If you find any info I would appreciate if you would share It here for my own curiosity.

So I have decided to sell my Boogie 2x15, but I have been contacted a few times from people interested in just the original speakers but not the speaker box. What would be a fair price on just the speakers sold individually? I have looked around but can't seem to find them for sale without the cab? Any help is appreciated.
