So the current theory around the ol' watercooler here is that the youngsters default to videos for everything. Want to know how to cook a turkey... youtube. Find random music... youtube where you can "watch" the album cover while listening. Learn a song... that's still tabs but hopefully with a matching video. While me and the rest of us geezers friggin' hate that and would just rather read some text. I've noticed this on the news sites too, a lot less writing and lot more "look at my video". OK rant and hijack over, it's time for my old guy meds. What's the thread about?

Im with you. Id much rather read a news article than watch a video.
If I want to know how to cook something I'll look up a recipe.
I really dislike youtube in the general sense.
