Experienced bass player, new TB member introduction

Hello everybody,

My name is Arjan, 29 yo. I've been playing bass for 15 years and that's 14years of band experience with self written music.

Google has send me to talkbass for many years and now it was time to join.

Fender Player jazz
Vintage v4

2x12 Trickfish cabinet
Ebs session 60
Ebs session 30
Roland micro cube (battery amp)

I often get overly excited about basses for a few months and then I get excited about my other hobby. I play the Pokémon trading card game competitively. And then get excited about basses again for a few months and so on.

I love progressive metal but like to play anything pop, rock and metal related.

As of now im modding a bass for the time and got lots of ideas from talkbass. I'm excited to get started on this project and I'm sure TB will help.

So, English is your second language?? Like a lot of Americans, I only speak one language. You are doing fine. Keep posting, we learn from each other.

For what it is worth, I two keep several hobbies going, and enjoy each. if I would spend my time with one, I would be more skilled in that hobby, but that would only leave me one hobby.

Right now, I'm working on a painting of the sunrise in Lubbock, Texas. My windmills, or oil field jacks, are not the best so this panting may only have some cactus in the foreground... We do what we can do.

Painting is also fun. Like with most hobbies you can't do both at the same time but having multiple hobbies is still a good thing imo. Have fun!

That's right! I spend way too much time there helping beginners (or making it more difficult for them if they ask the wrong questions haha). I'll try to move more to TB, think it has more to offer me.
