Not really a believer in the paranormal myself, but took a ghost tour for fun with my wife in Savannah, GA. Look up 432 Abercorn. Accoording to the guide, there is a lot of paranormal "energy" in and around that house. Something about a civil war general killing his daughter in the place:

tuesday after work I arrive home on my bike, put it in the garage and want to enter the house through the backdoor. The backdoor is never locked, but now it was about halfway open. Nothing too strange, I just figured the wind would've caused this. Then this morning I get ready to leave the house through the backdoor to get my bike in the garage and I see our garden table is standing on its leggs. But a few weeks ago I had put it on its side along with the chairs preparing the garden for the coming winter. The table is way too heavy to be lifted from its side and put straight on it's four leggs by the wind. The chairs hadn't moved an inch. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for this, but right now I can't say I like it, it creeps me out.
